Matt Bosher was energetic previous week, but he clearly was not feeling his greatest. The Falcons trotted him out there for a deficiency of better options—though I continue to want to see Mohamed Sanu punt for an full game—but most of his punts went short, and there was a concern heading into 7 days 3 that this was an situation that was not just likely to magically go absent.
Resources notify @TheAthleticATL that the Falcons will be signing punter Matt Wile to the practice squad following a work out today.

There is no term on who is getting cut from the apply squad to make way for Wile, so remain tuned for that and the official signing.
Wile boomed two punts for 116 yards way back in 2016, when Bosher past skipped game motion, and was effective for the Vikings a 12 months ago as he averaged 45.2 yards for every punt in 16 online games, with one of those people punts blocked. He’s a extra-than-able fill-in for Bosher if it arrives down to that, although we’re hoping the Significant Bosh Guy will be prepared to go on Sunday.
